Maintenance

Free resharpening service

Within 180 days of purchase, your knife will be carefully maintained free of charge by a Sakai knife craftsman. A professional craftsman will hand-sharpen the blade while assessing its condition, restoring it to its original sharpness. We also accept requests for a fee (1500 yen + shipping) even after 180 days, so please feel free to contact us.

※Due to the nature of the kuro product, it is not eligible for the resharpening service.

※We may not be able to repair extremely large chips.

Quality Assurance

Ebisu-hamono products have passed inspection standards. Since all processes for Ebisu-hamono products are handcrafted by skilled artisans, there may be visual differences such as hamon patterns, but this does not compromise quality.
