It has a high-grade Kasumi finish, a buffalo horn ferrule, and a sheath to protect the blade as standard, making it a knife suitable for professionals to own.
Since this is a Japanese knife (single-edged), please maintain it with a sharpening stone.

Yanagiba knives are also known as sashimi knives or sushi knives.
This knife is primarily used to cut fish, and is characterized by its long blade, as it must be cut in one direction to keep the cut beautiful and fresh. It is very useful for cutting sashimi and seafood, and in recent years it has also been used to cut meat.
